- Hi. I decided to go out on a limb and get an accelerator for my A1200.
- I got a DKB 1240 28 Mhz 68030 card, and used my 4 M simm from my old ram
- board. (I also got the FerretSCSI card which attaches to the Cobra).
-
- Most things work fine, but it seems like my MLINK connections are kind of
- strange now. Mosaic and Ibrowse both seem sluggish, taking longer to
- download pages or gif's from pages. They work fine to the localhost, and
- work better at 19200 baud than 56,800 baud. At 56,800 baud, which was my
- normal setting before the upgrade, now Mosaic and Ibrowse lock up after
- trying to access the homepage, or part way through accessing the home
- page. Multilink Terminal Napsaterm won't even start up at 56800 baud
- now, but works OK at 19200 baud (in which I am typing this)
-
- Does anyone know if this may be related to the Cobra accelerator, or
- could it just be that my University host computer is real busy?
-
- Are there ways to trouble-shoot this without taking the accelerator in/out?
-
- Thanks in advance.
